Relatives Didn't Want Tripti Dimri to Enter Films

Tripti Dimri, who made her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali’s film Laila Majnu, needs no introduction today. However, there was a time when her family didn’t want her to pursue a career in films. She faced numerous taunts from society and relatives. Tripti has revealed that her relatives warned her parents that if she entered films, no one would marry her.

Recently, Tripti participated in a conversation as part of Katrina Kaif’s beauty brand, K-Beauty by Katrina. During this, she shared details about her struggles. Tripti said, “When I came to Mumbai, it was very difficult for me. I would leave home every day to attend auditions. During auditions, there would be 50-60 people in one room. People, society, and relatives said terrible things to my parents. They asked why they had sent me into this profession. They said I would go completely astray, get involved with the wrong crowd, and make bad decisions for myself. They even said no one would marry me.”
