The story of the film is based on the events surrounding the Sabarmati Express near Godhra railway station in Gujarat on 27 February 2002. A glimpse of this was seen in the film’s teaser. The Sabarmati Report marks Vikrant Massey’s first theatrical release after 12th Fail.
Much like Sector 36 and 12th Fail, The Sabarmati Report is also inspired by true events. With growing excitement surrounding the film, the makers have officially announced its release date.
The Sabarmati Report, starring Vikrant Massey, Rashi Khanna, and Riddhi Dogra, is slated to release on 15 November 2024. The announcement has only added to the anticipation among fans.
Presented by Balaji Motion Pictures (a division of Balaji Telefilms Limited) and Vikir Films Production, The Sabarmati Report features Vikrant Massey, Rashi Khanna, and Riddhi Dogra in lead roles. The film is directed by Dheeraj Sarna and jointly produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta R Kapoor, Amul V Mohan, and Anshul Mohan.
