Arjun Rampal has talked about the breakup of his first marriage with Meher Jessia in an interview. During this, Arjun acknowledged that getting married early was a mistake. Arjun said that he was only 24 years old when he got married.

In The Ranveer Show, Arjun said, ‘When I got married, I was only 24 years old. I think it was too early. When you are young, you need to learn and experience a lot in life. You have to be mature. Men mature later than women. It is a fact that we are idiots. If you want to be successful in marriage, then wait.’
About the divorce from Meher Jessia, Arjun said, ‘That was a tough time. Divorce is not easy for anyone. It is challenging, especially for the children.’ Arjun said that after divorce, there is a feeling of freedom for some time, but later you start feeling lonely. You start missing home.’
The Ex-wife has a good bond with girlfriend
Arjun also said that his ex-wife Meher and both daughters have a good bond with girlfriend Gabriella.
On the question of not getting married despite being in a long relationship with Gabriella and being the father of two children, Arjun said, we are married but at heart. Marriage is just a piece of paper. You become legally bound to someone, due to which the attitude towards each other can change.
Arjun-Meher separated in May 2018
In May 2018, Arjun and Meher announced their separation. They were both wed for twenty years. They got married in 1998, after which they had two daughters. Arjun is dating South African actress and supermodel Gabriella Demetriades following their divorce. They also have two sons.
