In a recent interview, Sanya revealed that her mother had taken her to a Pandit who said that she could not become an actress. Sanya also revealed that when she went for auditions without makeup, the casting director used to advise her to undergo jaw surgery.

Actually, while talking on internet sensation Urfi Javed’s podcast Uncancellable, Sanya made these revelations. He said that he had many bad experiences while giving auditions. Sanya said, “Jaw reconstruction, I still remember. I said, ‘What?’ Sanya further said, “They don’t say anything now. But I know that I am so confident that I can’t even tell you. But of course, it’s ups and downs. Especially during periods, I also have endometriosis, a cyst in my ovary. But I was so confident when I came to Mumbai for the audition without doing hair and make-up. Used to be taken.

Sanya said, “I was sure that I would be selected based on my acting. Of course, I used to have a mustache in school. A boy made fun of me for it, and I replied, ‘Well, you don’t have one.’ Even at that age, I was sure I would be a heroine.”
