In Beta, Anil Kapoor had Madhuri Dixit – Bollywood’s ‘Dhak-Dhak girl’ as his wife. “Dhak Dhak Karne Laga” from this movie is a super hit and got the name ‘Dhak-Dhak girl’ for the brilliant actress Madhuri. Other talents who acted along with Anil and Madhuri are Anupam Kher, Aruna Irani, and Laxmikant Berde. Indra Kumar directed this film, who gives comedy hits like Masti and Dhamaal.
Story of Beta
After the death of his mother, his father remarries and brings Aruna Irani into the house as his second wife. Aruna’s character, along with her brother- portrayed by Anupam Kher- has her eyes set on Anil’s wealth. She manipulates Anil’s father and takes control of the household. Anil’s character marries Madhuri Dixit; time passes and she slowly begins to see through tricks of her ploying mother-in-law. The plot develops with the help of justice finally being done to the family once Madhuri’s character outwits Aruna’s.
