Tishaa Kumar, the beloved daughter of Krishan Kumar and Tanya Singh and cousin to Bhushan Kumar, passed away in July 2024, leaving her family devastated. In remembrance of her late daughter’s 21st birthday, Tanya Singh penned an emotional and heart-breaking note that captured the depth of her grief and love.
On September 6, Tanya shared a touching video on Instagram, featuring a montage of cherished moments with Tishaa—from childhood memories to joyful moments in adulthood. The video, set to a rendition of Tu Jo Mila, showcased Tishaa dancing, working out, and posing for photoshoots, reflecting her vibrant spirit and love for life.
Tanya posted a heartfelt caption, saying, “My dearest darling Tish…”Cheers to your 21st. 21 years ago, you came into my life and filled it with joy, bliss, laughter, and unconditional love. I’m grateful that you granted me the “honor” of becoming your mother, my sweetie.”
She went on, “You are my most precious, pure, and inside-out gorgeous daughter, and I will always be your mom.” Life feels empty with you gone, so unfair, meaningless, and purposeless.”
Tanya also reflected on the special bond she shared with her daughter, writing: “We had plans, a mission—you and me. We’re still a team, you and me. Though things didn’t go as planned, you were the strongest, bravest, and most loving person, always shining your light no matter the day or night.”
Tanya touched on the family’s grief, adding: “We both know this wasn’t the story we imagined—there was no ‘prolonged battle.’ Muma is yours, always and forever, connected to you through our unbreakable bond. I love you, my darling, and I know you’ll return to live and fulfill your dreams. Until then, all my love and good energy surround you.”
The tribute ended with a powerful message: “You’re my angel, my star, my universe, my everything. You were like 100 kids rolled into one for me. Until we reunite, Muma will love you forever and more.”
