Despite the absence of a Salman Khan film from Eid 2024, fans have a reason to rejoice with the announcement of his upcoming film ‘Sikandar’. This exciting action thriller in collaboration with director AR Murugadoss will begin production in June 2024 after starting pre-production last week. Originally scheduled for May, the project was pushed back, raising expectations for his upcoming debut.

Salman Khan to start shooting for Sikandar in June

We know that the shooting of Sikandar will begin in June. It was also revealed that production will cover three different locations: Mumbai, Hyderabad and Europe. Details of exact times and locations will be closely followed.

According to Noon, Murugadoss’ plan includes shooting most of the action sequences. While the action directors are finishing these scenes, Salman Khan has already started his preparations. Reports indicate that he will focus on improving his agility and movement skills. A source told the news portal, “Salman insists on working out on his own. He has tweaked his workout routine to develop a toned physique.”

During the recent Eid celebrations, Salman Khan revealed the title of his upcoming film with AR Murugadoss as Sikandar, which was slated to release on Eid 2025. Making the announcement on Instagram, Salman shared the caption, “Iss Eid Bade Miyan Chote Miyan aur Maidaan ko dekho aur Agli Eid Sikandar it aa kar milo…. Eid Mubarak to you all!”

Murugadoss is currently directing several projects, one of which is an action film starring Tamil actor Sivakarthikeyan (tentatively titled SK23). To transition smoothly to Sikandari, he plans to complete a major portion of SK23 in This. strategic approach aims increase his focus and resources for Salman Khan’s next project.The film also marks the reunion of Salman Khan with producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The duo collaborated on hits like Kick, Judwaa and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
