When a tennis elbow injury nearly put an end to his career in 2004–2006, Sachin Tendulkar went through one of his hardest periods. Due to this injury, Sachin was not able to even hold his bat properly. Due to this during this period, he batted at an average of 41 in 18 Test matches and only 35 in 24 ODI matches. During his career, Sachin sustained numerous injuries, but one of them resulted in inflammation of the elbow tendon, which affected his performance.

Great comeback story

After this injury Sachin Tendulkar, fans used words like Andulkar. That means that although his career ended, the world gained a new Sachin Tendulkar six years later, who returned to the field and played with renewed vigor. After this, Sachin Tendulkar set a number of incredible records. Whether it’s reaching 100 international centuries, winning the ODI World Cup, or recording the first double century in ODI cricket. Sachin became the God of Cricket after reaching every major goal.

Tendulkar believes that he was unlucky at the time of his tennis elbow injury. He said that if it had happened at the end of the season and he had had a four-month break to recover, many people would have never even heard of tennis elbow.
