Devara Part 1 Performs Best in Telugu States, but Remains Average in Hindi
The movie has excelled in Telugu-speaking regions, where it has resonated most with audiences. In contrast, its performance in Hindi has been moderate, pulling in around Rs 50 crore over 10 days. In Tamil and Malayalam markets, where local hits like Ajayante Randam Moshanam, Kishkindha Kaandam, Lubber Pandhu, and Meiyazhagan have been performing well, Devara struggled to make a significant impact.

Devara Part 1 Set to Capitalize on Dussehra Holiday, Targeting Rs 390 Crore Finish
Produced by NTR Arts, Devara is expected to benefit from the nationwide Dussehra holiday in the coming days. However, it faces competition from upcoming releases like Vettaiyan, Jigra, and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video. The film is now eyeing a worldwide finish of around Rs 390 crore, a commendable achievement given its fluctuating box office journey.
Despite mixed word-of-mouth reviews, Devara has held strong, largely due to Jr NTR’s massive fan base. Overall, Devara Part 1 is considered a success, and the makers are likely to proceed with the second installment, though expectations for stronger execution are high this time around.
