Deepika Padukone recently delighted fans by sharing captivating images from her pregnancy photoshoot on social media. On Monday evening, the actress uploaded 14 photos to her Instagram account. Through these pictures, Deepika indirectly addressed and shut down the rumors of her pregnancy being fake. As per media reports, she is expected to deliver on September 28.
Stars Like Bipasha and Aditi Send Their Best Wishes
The photos shared by Deepika also include her husband, Ranveer Singh. Numerous celebrities, including Deepika’s sister Anisha Padukone, Bipasha Basu, Aditi Rao Hydari, Dhanashree Verma, Ori, and B Praak, have shown their love and congratulated the couple on these pictures.
Pregnancy Revealed in February
Deepika made her pregnancy announcement on February 28 this year through social media. She shared a post that simply read, “September 2024.” After this revelation, celebrities such as Anil Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, and Mrunal Thakur extended their congratulations in the comments.
Prior to this announcement, Deepika appeared as a presenter at the British Film Awards (BAFTA), where she was seen trying to hide her baby bump. A close friend said that the actress was in fact pregnant at that point.
Tied the Knot in Italy in 2018
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in a beautiful destination wedding in Italy in 2018. The couple first crossed paths on the set of the film “Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela.” They fell in love while working together and decided to get married after five years of being in a relationship. Deepika and Ranveer have co-starred in several films, including “Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela,” “Padmaavat,” “Bajirao Mastani,” and “83.” Additionally, Deepika made a cameo in Ranveer’s film “Cirkus.”
‘Singham Again’ Set for a Diwali Release
On the professional front, Deepika’s most recent film, “Kalki,” became the highest-grossing film of the year. Her upcoming movie, “Singham Again,” is slated for release during Diwali this year. Deepika will share the screen with her husband Ranveer Singh in this film. Notably, she filmed both of these projects during her pregnancy.
