Ranveer Singh recently shared a heartwarming moment with para-athlete Kanchan Lakhani at an event, where he adorably requested extra hugs for his newborn daughter with wife Deepika Padukone. The actor, who embraced fatherhood in September 2024, is clearly overjoyed, and fans are loving every bit of it.
During a celebration for India’s Olympic and Paralympic athletes at the Ambani residence in Mumbai on October 1, Kanchan Lakhani posted a sweet video of her interaction with Ranveer Singh. The clip shows her pinning a badge onto Ranveer’s black blazer and giving him a heartfelt hug. Ranveer then charmingly asked, “Ek mere liye aur ek meri baby ke liye” (One hug for me and one for my baby girl), prompting Kanchan to give him even more hugs, including one for Deepika and their daughter. Ranveer, touched by the moment, responded with a joyful, “Kya baat hai.”
The video captioned “Beautiful moments with @ranveersingh” quickly went viral, and fans flooded the comments with love. On the professional front, Ranveer is set to return to work in November to continue filming his next project with director Aditya Dhar. According to sources, the actor recently wrapped a successful schedule in Bangkok, and anticipation is high for the upcoming shoot. We had a really successful shoot in Thailand, and Ranveer is getting ready to start shooting again in November, an insider said. While we can’t reveal too much about the upcoming locations, the first schedule has everyone excited about what’s to come.”
